All orders placed online will be fulfilled within 15 business days once payment has been made in FULL by the payment option you select after confirmation of your order, unless otherwise advised. In view of the fluctuating and unpredictable global pandemic situation, Teleconsultations with a specialist for ADULTS with NEUROLOGICAL or SLEEP DISORDERS are offered in extenuating circumstances such as when in-person medical consultations (which are ideal) are not possible. Such Teleconsultations are generally made available to existing patients on active follow-up at Singapore Neurology & Sleep Centre to facilitate enquiries, refills of certain medication and other non-urgent issues. New adult patients will not be accepted via the Teleconsultation platform unless there are exceptional circumstances. Acute or urgent matters are not suited to this platform: In case of any medical emergency, please seek medical attention immediately or call 995 for Emergency Services.
Teleconsultation is not a substitute for in-person medical evaluation. Please see your primary care doctor if possible instead of using Teleconsultation. Do not delay seeking medical attention from a doctor or hospital, especially where there are serious or life-threatening circumstances.
Information you provide during Teleconsultation should be accurate, up to date and pertain to yourself. Additionally, you agree to update and maintain such information to ensure that it is true, accurate, current and complete at all times. Medical certification of illness and prescriptions are not available through the Website. For Teleconsultations, please ensure that the internet connection is of sufficient quality to host a video consultation safely, otherwise poor video and audio quality may affect the experience of teleconsultation. Singapore Neurology & Sleep Centre will not be responsible for disputes that arise from internet connectivity issues. Nor will there be any refund of payment.
Teleconsultation Privacy, Security & Etiquette: It is required that the patient prepares ahead of time to participate in the Teleconsultation, in a quiet and private place, where only the patient is present in the room where the video session is being held. For elderly or disabled patients who require help to participate in the video, a caregiver may be present. There must be no audio/video recording of the session by the patient. It is necessary that the patient (and any caregiver) act with proper decorum in speech and action during the Teleconsultation. Failure to comply with these requirements can result in termination of the video session with no refund or rescheduling of the Teleconsultation.
